They are normally in dark green, light green and white in color, some are spherical and others are oval and they are totally unlike the usual purple-colored variety of  big egg plants found in many parts of the world. These eggplants are locally known as Katunkuma in East Africa.
These small egg plants are the best food supplement so far in reliving people from diabetes and   high blood pressure.
The berry of this eggplant is bitter and is nearly the size of a Soya bean. Fresh berries are normally boiled or cooked and are mixed in any type of stew. On some occasions, these berries are boiled, dried and then crashed into powder form, and then some amount of it is mixed in any form of stew or source. You can also eat these berries fresh.
These bitter berries are rich in all kinds of salts, carbohydrates and vitamins.
